TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We hope all our customers are completely happy with their Be Exceptional by Joanna Potepa products. Our aim is to provide every customer with the same excellent level of service for which we are known. If for any reason you are not entirely happy we will do our utmost to help resolve this.
ORDERING
www.beexceptional.eu is owned and operated by Joanna Potepa. Placing an order for goods on www.beexceptional.eu indicates your acceptance of our terms and conditions. All communication to you from www.beexceptional.eu will be addressed to your email address as supplied when you place the order. If you do not receive a confirmation email after placing an order please contact us immediately

In the rare circumstance of the product you ordered not being available, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the appropriate action (i.e. full refund or a substitute product incurring a part refund or extra payment as required). We reserve the right to amend the Terms & Conditions at any time, so you should check this page regularly to take note of any changes.
DELIVERY TIMES
All of our jewellery is handmade and we keep items in stock. These will be sent within 3 to 5 working days of placing the order. Personalised items generally take up to 10 working days to be dispatched. If you require an item urgently for a special date or event please contact us as more often than not we can work to shorter time scales.
Delivery is free to all UK addresses. Goods are sent out using Royal Mail and may require a signature upon arrival.
Items are sent to overseas addresses via tracked delivery services at a cost of £10 per order.
Please note that customers are responsible for all duties and customs charges. We currently ship to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, Japan and Hong Kong
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase and would like to exchange or refund, please return the item to us in its original, unworn condition within 14 days of receipt. Refunds are made via the same payment method you used online. Postage on returns is non-refundable.
Exempt from any exchange or refund are bespoke pieces and items that have been customised to a customer’s request.
If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on the item. Please ensure that the items are safely packaged and returned to us using a signed for delivery service and include a reason for return. We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost in transit whilst being returned to us.
In the case of exchanges, a re-delivery charge will apply of £5, or £10 for items sent internationally.
REPAIRS
At the discretion of Be Exceptional by Joanna Potepa, an item will be repaired or replaced if any manufacturer defects are found in the first six months from the date of the purchase. Normal wear and tear and customer abuse is not covered under warranty and repairs will be quoted for on a case-by-case basis.
Please note we are not responsible for cost of return postage unless items delivered are faulty or incorrect. If this should occur, please contact us. Please allow seven working days for returns to be processed once they reach us.
If it is an international return, please clearly label the package "Returned for Repair" or "Returned for refund". This will ensure that your returned goods are not held in UK customs, which could otherwise result in delays in processing your refund or you may become liable for customs charges.

PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices are clearly stated and do not include VAT as Be Exceptional by Joanna Potepa jewellery is not a VAT registered company.
We use Paypal as our shopping cart as it has an excellent reputation for handling credit card payments safely and securely.
You can also pay with credit / debit card without having a paypal account.
We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information.
Payment through PayPal:
Due to the safety and reliability measures, most of the eCommerce sites allow payment through PayPal. Here, the account details of the customers remain stored in their own system and that is why the compliance issues are minimized quite considerably. The transactions are relatively fast and authentic with this payment gateway.
This payment option suits to most of the online customers who do not want to reveal their credit card details anywhere on online websites. Due to this unparallel safety measures, payment through PayPal account is the best suited for the customers as well as the site administrators
JEWELLERY CARE
To ensure your jewellery stays looking its best please try to remember the below. It is recommended to remove jewellery before going to bed or when taking part in any physical activity. Jewellery should not be exposed to chlorine or salt water as this makes the surface matt and dull. Avoid contact with make-up, creams and perfumes. Do not bath, shower, use cleaning products or wash up when wearing your jewellery. Store your jewellery in a dry place. Preferably in a jewellery box.

We make every effort to ensure that images displayed on our website are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee an exact match to the product as displayed ( especially clolours) on your screen.
